Bid

The Design / Bid / Build process allows DLH Architecture to offer superior client service at the lowest price. Turf vendors want to sell you the turf directly. In comparison, DLH Architecture will bid your fields to a select list of pre-qualified turf contractors with a reliable track record. By having an experienced design professional and licensed architect prepare the bidding documents, the benefits from the competitive market that exists in the sports turf industry can be realized. DLH Architecture has been able to save clients $150,000 to $250,000 including design fees, by bidding the project over the costs of direct negotiations with a vendor.

DLH Architecture is your single point of contact during all phases. The Design / Bid/ Build process saves you money through competitive bids which are required in most government purchasing process. A set of contract documents along with the specifications for the desired turf system are prepared by DLH Architecture and issued to a select list of turf contractors. Bids are received, reviewed with you, and the contract is awarded.

Build

DLH Architecture watches over the removal of the existing field and provides construction administration for the installation of the new system based on contract documents. Your front end documents and contract need to be included so that you are comfortable with the process.

During the construction of the field DLH Architecture meets weekly with the Owner’s representative, the Turf Contractor’s Project Manager, and Project Superintendent to discuss the progress and installation of the field. DLH Architecture provides documentation of these meetings to assist in addressing issues that arise over the construction process. Our experienced staff ensures your project is to exact specifications and on schedule. Thereby, saving you time and allowing your grounds crew to be more productive and tend to other responsibilities.

After the construction is complete, your relationship with DLH Architecture remains. We are always available to answer questions. DLH Architecture, LLC continues to serve as your single point of contact, ensuring your satisfaction with the new synthetic turf system. Our synthetic turf systems come with an 8 -10 year maintenance, materials, and labor warranty.
