Stutler Bowl
Completed in August of 2024, Littleton Public Schools upgraded their track to a 9-lane track with a new synthetic turf field, jump pits, and a new storage building. Bleacher security and ADA access was also improved. The new 9-lane track is a post tension system that is NFHS compliant. The surface is a full pour Beynon – BSS 1000 system, and the new field is a Greenfields “Ironturf” sports turf. A new ADA access ramp was also required to connect the field to the locker rooms for disabled athletes. In addition, the stands were renovated.
Stutler Bowl, one of two stadiums in the Cherry Creek School District, underwent a major improvement when the old Astroturf surface was removed and replaced with synthetic turf and a new full pour poly track.
This project was bid to sophisticated Landscape Contractors with each of the desired turf and track systems identified as alternates. This delivery process allowed the School District to select the best value of each system for this complex based on the design specifications.
Used as a multi sport field the synthetic surface supports football, soccer, lacrosse, and field hockey.
